WBJEE 2022 registration window closed; check form correction dates here

Online registration for WBJEE 2022 will end on January 10, 2022. It will end at 6pm. When it is over, the board will open the WBJEE 2022 application form correction window. The correction can be made from 11 to 13 January 2022. Only those candidates can edit the forms who submitted it in the prescribed format.

Candidates who have not yet applied can do so from wbjeeb.nic.in. In order to complete the WBJEE 2022 application form, candidates will need a valid ID, a scanned image of the passport photo, a scanned image of the signature and other documents in PDF format, a caste certificate (if applicable) and bank details, a valid email address, a mobile number, and so on.

Firstly, the WBJEE 2022 aspirants are required to register by entering personal information such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, date of birth, address, mobile number, email address, etc. Also create a password and select a security question and answer. After submitting the registration form, an application number will be generated and sent to the candidate by SMS/Email.

After registration, in order to complete the application form, candidates are required to enter all necessary details such as residence, category, PwD status, household income details, nationality, academic qualification details and exam center details.

Then upload the images of the photo and signature according to the specification stated by the authority. Finally, proceed to pay the examination fee of Rs 500 for the General category and Rs. 400 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B. The application fee can be paid by debit/credit card/net banking.

Only against the correctly submitted applications will the WBJEE 2022 Admission Card be released. Therefore, candidates should make the most of the correction window to ensure that the details, images, etc. are correct.

Once the correction window opens, all details can be corrected except the candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, place of residence and date of birth. WBJEEB will not allow correction in the application form after the correction window is closed.

WBJEE is held once a year to admit students to the University of Groningen courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in the colleges/universities in the state of West Bengal. WBJEE 2022 will be conducted in offline mode i.e. it will be a pen and paper based test. The question paper will contain a total of 155 questions, divided into 3 categories. The questions are asked from the subjects mathematics, physics and chemistry.
