UPTET: Must read these 10 lines before going home for the UPTET exam

UPTET: About 21 lakh candidates will appear for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) on January 23. The exam is taken in two shifts. The first shift is performed from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and the second shift from 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. In order to be able to take the exam transparently, the administration, the police, the security cell and the exam leaders and invigilators have prepared themselves. In addition to camera surveillance in the exam center, the exam candidates will have to undergo an intensive screening.

1- Keep in mind the reporting time

This time, the candidates must be at the exam center one and a half hours before the exam time. Candidates only get admission half an hour before the exam time. This means that access is completely restricted after 9.30 pm.

2. In addition to the admission card, it is necessary to have proof of identity and self-declaration
Please bring the exam admission card, face mask, transparent water bottle, photo ID, hand sanitizer, covid self-declaration form and documents.

3. Documents Complete
Candidates whose details are not complete will not be admitted. The documents must be certified by the competent authorities. If the certificate from BTC or B.Ed is original then it is ok, otherwise it is necessary to have it verified by the competent authority.

4- Keep 5-6 copies of the access card.
Candidates must carry five to six copies of the admission ticket downloaded online. For this, candidates can travel for free in buses of transport companies. This trip is valid from January 22 to 24. At the same time, free travel on city buses is valid until January 22 and 23 at 12 noon. At the request of the carrier, the carrier must provide a countersigned copy during the journey. The place of start and destination will have to be written on this when marking the journey up/down.

5- Corona positive is also allowed
The government has said that if a covid-positive student wishes to take an exam, they will be seated in a separate room. Thermal scanning is arranged in each center. The facility of Zorgcentrum Kovid is also provided. If someone has a fever or symptoms of corona during thermal scanning, they will be placed in a separate room. In addition, agreements have been made at the inspection centers about ambulances. If a candidate’s health deteriorates, immediate medical attention will be provided.

6. Aadhar card is also valid as ID
An ID must also be brought with the admission ticket. This time, the Aadhar card is also valid as an identity card. Until now, driver’s license, voter card, PAN card and passport were only valid as identity cards.

7- Free bus tour
Candidates will also have the opportunity to travel for free on buses for three days (January 22, 23 and 24, 2022). Candidates must carry several copies of the admission card as a free travel pass.

8. Mobile or any other gadget, device banned
Together with the students, there will be a ban on the taking of mobile phones or electronic devices by the room inspector and other staff.

9. It is necessary to follow the corona guidelines
In the exam centers, candidates must follow the corona guidelines and social distancing. The Kovid protocol will be followed strictly in the exam centers. In addition to social distancing, candidates will take the exam by wearing a mask. Before the exams, each room of the exam center is disinfected in the first shift and in the second shift.

10. Thermal Scanner and Oximeter Setup
A sufficient number of thermal scanners and oximeters will be provided in the centers and hand sanitizers will be kept in each examination room. Some additional surgical masks will also be kept, which will be made available to the candidates. Candidates are at a reasonable distance. A medical team will also be stationed in the center.
