UPTET exam tomorrow, free buses start from today for TET examiners, keep 6 copies …

Free driving buses have started from today for about 21 lakh candidates who will appear for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) on January 23. Candidates will get these buses for three days i.e. from January 22 to 24 at 12 noon. Candidates can travel for free by giving a photocopy of the admission ticket to the bus conductor.

RK Singh, MD, Transport Corporation said a free bus service will be offered to the candidates on December 23 by order of the government. Guidelines have been sent to highway authorities across the state for free bus travel. During the journey on the bus, according to the rules of the covid protocol, the number of seats will be able to travel with the number of candidates.

Free city buses run for two days in seven cities, including Lucknow

Free city buses will also run to take the candidates to the exam center. The City Transport Directorate will provide 800 CNG and 200 electric buses for free in seven cities of the state, including Lucknow. These include Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Jhansi, Muthra-Vrindavan and Agra. Help desks have been set up for the candidates at the bus stops in each city. Bus drivers and conductors who transport TET candidates to their destination will receive an additional fee. This allowance is given with a maximum salary of Rs 300 per driver-conductor.

Over 21 lakh gives TET exam

There are 1291629 and 873553 candidates registered for primary and higher primary level TET, respectively. The current sheets containing the scanned photos of the candidates had to be sent to the center administrators by January 17, for which the question papers and OMR sheets (answer sheets) were made available to the district headquarters by January 20 to keep in double lock.
