UPSC CSE 2022: Good News, 150 Messages Increased in UPSC Civil Services Examination, Read 10 Special Things

UPSC CSE 2022: There is good news for the candidates of the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has also included 150 vacancies of Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS Group A-IRMS Group A) among the existing 861 vacancies of Civil Services Examination 2022. That is, now through the Civil Services Examination 2022 (UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022), a total of 1011 posts will be recruited. UPSC’s notification of 2 February for the Civil Service Survey 2022 contained only 861 vacancies.

Let us tell you that recently a framework IRMS Group A was formed by merging 8 services of Railways. Now the recruitment will be done through Civil Services Examination. This has recently been reported. The merger of these cadres was discussed after the cabinet meeting on 24 December 2019.

Of IRMS’ 150 vacancies, 6 are reserved for otherwise skilled candidates.

The same qualification has been maintained for the new 150 vacancies of IRMS (IRMS Group A) that has been retained for the Civil Service Exam 2022. In such a situation, the candidates who applied for the Civil Service Exam 2022 do not need to re-apply.

February 22nd is the last date to apply for a civil services exam, know 10 other special things
1- The Civil Services Prelims exam will be held on June 5, 2022.
2- In addition to the Civil Services, the Indian Forest Service investigation notification has also been issued. One must clear the UPSC Civil Services Prelims to appear in the Forest Services Main exam. That is, the preparatory exam of both competitive exams will be common. 151 vacancies have been released in the Indian Forest Service Examination.

3- Eligibility for Civil Service Examination
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute. Students who participate in the final exam of the bachelor’s program can fill in the application form. When completing the Civil Service (Main Exam) form, these candidates must submit proof of obtaining the bachelor’s degree.

4- Indian Forest Service Exam Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Institute/University with one of the subjects Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology. or
– Bachelor in Agriculture/Forestry. or
– Bachelor of Engineering Sciences.

5 age limit
– Minimum age – 21 years. The maximum age must be less than 32 years old. The age is calculated from August 1, 2022. That is, the applicant must have been born no earlier than August 2, 1990 and no later than August 1, 2001.
The upper age limit can be relaxed by three years for candidates of the OBC category, five years for SC/ST and ten years for candidates of the physically handicapped category.

6. Possibility to withdraw the application
Applicants for the Civil Service Examination also have the opportunity to withdraw their application. The option to withdraw the application is between March 1, 2022 and March 7, 2022. If, after applying, a candidate feels that he or she is unable to prepare, he can take advantage of this opportunity to ensure that his efforts are not in vain. If the application is withdrawn, the registration fee will not be refunded. UPSC had started the facility to withdraw the application after the application in 2019.

UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022 (Prelims) Notice Release Date – Feb 2, 2022
Withdrawal application – March 1, 2022 – March 7
Last Application Date – February 22, 2022
Preparatory exam date – June 5, 2022
Main Exam Date – September 16, 2022

8. Number of chances
The total number of chances to appear on the exam is set at a maximum of 6. However, OBC candidates are given 9 chances and there is no limit to the number of chances for SC/ST candidates.

9. Selection Process
All applicants for the UPSC Civil Services exam must first appear in the prelims exam. The successful candidates will be called upon to sit the main examination. Those who pass Mains reach the interview (personality test). The final merit list is prepared based on the performance in the interview and main exam. Mains Exam is of 1750 Marks and Interview is of 275 Marks.

10. Application Fee
– €100. The fee must be paid by cash or NetBanking or MasterCard/debit card at a branch of the State Bank. The payment option is available during the online application process.
– SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and Female candidates are not required to pay any fee.

Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Police Services (IPS) and Indian Foreign Services (IFS), Railway Group A (Indian Railway Accounts Service), Indian Postal Services, Indian Postal Service, Indian Trade Services and other services through UPSC Civil Services is for selected.
