
UGC NET Result 2021 Live Updates: UGC NET Result can be released today on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. According to a statement from the University Grants Commission (UGC), the result of the National Eligibility Test (NET) will be announced on Thursday or Friday. After the publication of the result, candidates can check their result and score by visiting the official website www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in. UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar had said on Wednesday that the committee is continuously working with the NTA to announce the UGC NET result at the earliest and the result will be known in a day or two.

9:32 am – The UGC said in a press release on Wednesday: “Due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, the December 2020 survey could not be conducted. Subsequently, the UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 exams were conducted simultaneously by NTA from November 20, 2021 to January 5, 2022. The UGC NET exam was conducted on 81 subjects at 837 centers in 239 cities across the country. About 12 lakh candidates had registered in it. The process to release the result is still ongoing. UGC Chairman Professor M. Jagadesh Kumar has said that UGC is working closely with NTA and every effort is being made to release the UGC NET result in a day or two. He has passed on his best wishes to all exam candidates.
9:10 am – The answer key of NTA UGC NET exam has already been released. The last date to file an objection was January 24, 2022. After consideration of the objection, the final answer key will also be released.
9:05 AM – Only 6% of the total number of candidates that will appear in both papers of NET are declared qualified.
9:01 am – The UGC NET exam has been administered in three stages across the country by NTA. The first phase was carried out from November 20, 2021 to December 5, 2021. The second phase took place from December 23 to December 27, 2021 and the third phase from January 4 to 5, 2022.
08:30 am – UGC NET is conducted to qualify for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship in Colleges and Universities. This exam is held twice a year. There is no age limit to appear for this exam, but only candidates under the age of 28 can apply for JRF.
