UGC NET 2022 Exam: UGC NET 2022 Exam To Be Held In June, UGC President Provided This Important Information
National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon publish the notification of the UGC NET June 2022 exam on its official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The detailed notice of the NTA UGC NET 2022 exam date and time is expected to be released anytime in April 2022. The UGC NET 2022 exam is conducted online at various exam centers in India to determine your eligibility for the position of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian Universities and Colleges.
UGC NET Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a master’s degree or its equivalent from UGC recognized universities/institutes.
- Pass the qualifying exam in the humanities (including languages) and social sciences, computer science and applications, and electronic sciences.
- For reserved category, students must have obtained 55% marks and 50% marks.
- Candidates appearing in the final semester of the master’s degree can also apply.
- There is a 5% easing in overall marks for PhD holders.
ugc net age limit and relaxation
- The age of candidates must not be more than 31 years old for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
- The upper age limit can be relaxed by 5 years for the categories OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PWD.
- LLM Relaxation of the age of 3 years is admissible for the candidates with diploma. Candidates serving in the armed forces will be given a relaxation of up to 5 years, depending on the period of service in the armed forces, until the first day of the month in which the respective UGC-NET is conducted.
- assistant professor: There is no age limit for applying for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor.
