TBJEE 2022: State joint entrance exam tentatively to be conducted on April 27

The chairman of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE), Raja Chakraborty, announced April 27 as the “provisional date” for holding joint entrance examinations for admission into technical, technological, veterinary, agricultural, fisheries, allied health and other professional courses this year.

Chakraborty told reporters at the TBJEE office this afternoon: “We held a joint entrance meeting with all concerned executives and decided April 27 as the tentative date for our joint entrance examination for academic session 2022-23. Exam for all subjects would be be held in one day”.

Reiterating that the date is still a tentative date and has not yet been set, according to the latest decision, the TBJEE chief said that the physics and chemistry exam would be conducted on the day from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; biology exam would be held from 1:30pm – 2:15pm while the math paper exam would be held from 2:45pm – 3:30pm.

Online form submissions began on February 16 and would continue through March 3.

When asked whether the exam dates might cause inconvenience to students, as the CBSE exam schedule was announced close to these dates in the meantime, Chakraborty said, “Our tentative dates were set before the CBSE exam dates announced. We do not have detailed information. exam routine from CBSE. After we receive it, we will surely take the necessary measures for the convenience of the students of our state”.

Earlier this month, Dr. Bhabatosh Saha, Chairman of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE), are informed that the results for the Term I exams of Madhyamik and the upper secondary held last year would be published in mid-February and preparations for the Term I exam II are underway.

However, the TBSE chief did not give a date for the Term II exams, which were previously scheduled for April.

According to the state education council’s calendar, students would be asked to submit application forms for term II from March 15. However, the practical exams for Term II are expected to be completed by mid-March.
