Supreme Court Rejects Request to Postpone NEET PG 2022 Exam

The Supreme Court has rejected a request to postpone the NEET PG exam (NEET PG 2022). The NEET PG exam will be conducted on time. A bench headed by Judge DY Chandrachud heard the case and issued the verdict. The Supreme Court rejected the request because the postponement of the investigation will only cause chaos and uncertainty at this point. This also affects patient care and will be wrong for more than 2 lakh students preparing.

The Supreme Court said in its decision that any delay in conducting the investigation would result in a smaller number of resident doctors. This year there are only 2 sets of doctors. The request of the students cannot be considered as it will affect the careers of patient care and physicians.

According to the court, the state is trying to find a balance. There is a large number of doctors who have applied for the 2022 examination. More than 2 lakh 6000 doctors have registered which is far more than the number of doctors who appeared on the exam in the past 2 years. Delays in exams also affect other areas, such as admission to superspecialties.

At the beginning of the hearing, Judge DY Chandrachud had noted that postponing the NEET exam was not a good idea as the exam only caused difficulties for a few students. In fact, the bank said that there are students who had prepared for NEET PG 2022 and that it would not be good for them.

Since the Supreme Court decision on the exam is not to postpone it, the NEET PG 2022 exam date will be held on May 21, 2022 only. The exam will be taken offline for everyone. NEET PG 2022 Admission Card will be released soon on the official website nbe.edu.in. Candidates can easily check and download the admission card by visiting this website.
