
According to the latest government notification, the new restrictions will apply from February 16 to March 2. In the state, 200 people are now allowed to attend events, including wedding ceremonies, while 100 people are allowed to attend funerals.
An official release here said the ban on gatherings associated with social, cultural and political events will continue. Chief Secretary V Irai Anbu and other senior state officials attended the meeting chaired by the Chief Minister of the Secretariat. It is worth noting that as of February 1, offline classes have already started in the state for students of college and grades 1 to 12.
Ordered to open school and hostel in MP with 100% attendance
In view of the decline in the number of Kovid-19 cases, the government of Madhya Pradesh has ordered schools and hostels across the state to open at full capacity with immediate effect. An official said the order of the school’s education department was issued in accordance with instructions from the state’s interior ministry. He said all schools, residential schools and hostels for classes I to XII would be started with full attendance with immediate effect. According to the order, appropriate COVID-19 behavior such as wearing masks and physical distancing must be ensured during classes.
Let us inform that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had earlier on Friday announced the lifting of all Kovid-19 restrictions except the curfew in the state in view of the decrease of the infection. Chouhan tweeted: “Considering the cumulative rate of infection of Kovid-19 infection in the state and the continued reduction of cases being treated, all previously imposed restrictions on epidemic control are being lifted. All social, commercial, cultural, political, religious, entertainment, sports etc. and fairs will be organized in full capacity in the state.
