RSMSSB VDO: Good News, 1500 Posts Increased in Rajasthan VDO Recruitment, See Revised Job Details

RSMSSB VDO Recruitment: Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has brought good news for the candidates of VDO recruitment. 1500 posts have been increased in VDO Recruitment. Where previously 3896 positions of Village Development Officer (VDO) had to be recruited, now 5396 positions are recruited. The jury has released the notice of the revised vacancy. According to the latest data, of VDO’s total of 5396 posts, 4557 will be for unplanned areas and 839 for planned areas.

Including the elevated posts, the district and category reservation classification of the last posts of Village Development Officer has been issued. The rest of the terms of the release remain the same. Click to see new details.

RSMSSB will be releasing the result of the written exam VDO Recruitment very soon. After the result is released, the candidates can check the result by going to rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in.

Earlier on January 31, the answer key of the preliminary written exam was released. Objections have been lodged against this until February 4. The exam was held on December 27 and 28 in two shifts.

Candidates who qualify for the prelims appear in the main exam. The VDO Main Exam will be held in May 2022. The jury has already released the syllabus for the Main Exam.

VDO Main Exam will be 100 points. In the 2-hour exam, 120 questions are asked. All questions are multiple choice. There will be a negative mark. A third point is deducted for an incorrect answer. The main exam asks questions about current affairs, geography and natural resources, agriculture and economic development, history and culture with a special focus on India and Rajasthan. Apart from this, questions will also be asked about General Mental Skills, Reasoning, English, Hindi, Mathematics, Computer Basics, Administrative Structure of Rajasthan at State District Tehsil Panchayat level.
