Railway Group D CBT, RRB NTPC Result Update: The Railway Recruitment Examination candidates await the decision of the Government regarding two CBT and NTPC results in the Group D recruitment. Candidates are demanding on social media that the Government make its decision on NTPC result and Group D CBT issue on March 4. Candidates tweet with the hash tag #RRB_exam_date_do #RRBGroupD #RRBNTPC_1student_1result and demand that the new exam date for Group D be announced as well. Let us tell you that, after banning the NTPC and Group D recruitment exams, RRB had assembled a high-powered five-member committee to consider the agitated candidates’ objections. This committee must submit its report before March 4. Based on the recommendation of this committee, the Railway Recruitment Committee will make a decision on Group D in two phases and NTPC results pattern.
Candidates say that why the government is waiting for its decision and announcement of new exam dates on March 4? The government should release NTPC’s revised result immediately. In addition, also release the exam date of Group D and NTPC Stage-2.
Earlier, the Railway Recruitment Committee heard all complaints from angry candidates in the month of February. Reaching different railway zones, RRB teams resolved the candidates’ doubts and listened to their suggestions. A large number of candidates have also submitted their objections, suggestions by email.
Some important objections from the candidates
Unsuccessful candidates have objected to the NTPC result saying why 7 lakh roll numbers were selected instead of 7 lakh candidates. There used to be 10 candidates for one post, now there is one candidate for 10 posts. Many candidates have been selected for the same positions.
Objections were raised about Group D’s two-stage computerized examination. The candidates said the exam will be administered after three years. It is wrong to inform two phases after such a long time. This will further slow down the recruitment process.
Apart from this, questions have also been raised about making a medical examination of the eyes mandatory for all candidates in Group D.
– Railway NTPC and Group D Recruitment Exam candidates advised Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) officials to adopt the process of centralized examination (one test) and result like that of Bank. Candidates say that IBPS also examines all banks in a centralized manner. The result is also released centrally. How many vacancies are there at the bank? Accordingly, calls are made on a merit basis. The seats are filled by spending by category by merit. This process continues regularly. IBPS also releases the waiting list. The vacancies are recruited accordingly.
Candidates say that the railways should have its own calendar, such as SSC, IBPS and UPSC. By doing this there is no possibility of dispute.
Students of the EWS category also raise issues related to the EWS certificate with the board. When the ad came out in 2019, the EWS certificate from that time is being sought. When the new rule was created, there was a problem getting the certificate at that time. The students had filled the EWS during the application, but if the certificate is not available at that time at the time of hiring, the candidates will be removed. Many students have applied for an exemption on this point.
– Based on performance in Track Group D CBT-1, PET pass candidates are called 1.05 times (of the total vacancy) only for document verification and not the number of vacancies.
The advantage of reservation is given to the students only once in the RRB NTPC exam. OBC students have raised this issue. The students selected in OBC earn in CBT-1. They will not be selected in UR even if they get better grades on the CBT-II exam. On this subject, both the chairman say that this is the rule. The advantage of booking is only available once. The board makes the final decision.
