‘Schools should open soon’, private schools appeal to LG
Private schools in Delhi have called on the LG to open schools at the earliest. SK Bhattacharya, chairman of the action committee of unassisted private schools, has written a letter to Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal about this. He has said in the letter that it is time to open the schools. Schools are open in many cities and also abroad. All private schools assure that schools will be opened with full precautions and security.
The action committee has said that the closure of schools during Kovid-19 has caused much damage to the education of children over the past two years and that there is now a need to open schools at all levels. Earlier, in addition to demanding to open schools, the action committee also wrote a letter to Delhi’s Education Minister Manish Sisodia. The Action Committee says schools are also trying to meet the target of 100% vaccination of students in the 15-18 age group at the earliest.
Karnataka: Even if a child is tested positive in class, the studies will not stop
Karnataka’s government decided on Saturday to lift the curfew from January 31 and open schools for grades I to IX. All schools are open from Monday. If someone is found infected with the coronavirus in a class, that class will be closed and every student will be screened, but the school will remain open.
UP: Letter written to CM to open school
Studying offline in UP schools and colleges is prohibited until February 6. Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh School Management General Committee has demanded the opening of high school and high school students from January 31 in view of the board exams.
