Railway Recruitment 2022: New Railway Recruitment for 10th Pass, Apply for 323 Gatekeeper Vacancies
Railway Recruitment 2022: Northeast Railway has carried out bumper recruitment at the gatekeeper’s posts at level crossing gates. In the Lucknow and Izzatnagar divisions, a total of 323 vacancies have become available for gatekeepers working at the level crossing gates. This recruitment is for ex-servicemen. Selected candidates are hired on a contract basis. For ex-servicemen selection, Railway Recruitment Cell, Gorakhpur has been made available on North Eastern Railway website ner.indianrailways.gov.in for detailed notice and link to apply. The closing date for online registration is January 20 (5:00 PM).
Applications are only accepted through online mode. After applying online, candidates are required to take a printout of the application form to be produced during document verification.
Power
North Eastern Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh said interested ex-servicemen can apply through the link available on the North Eastern Railway website. There are no application costs for this. Educational qualification is Matriculation or its equivalent. The maximum age limit of the candidate is a maximum of 65 years as of 1 July 2022. The selected ex-servicemen will be posted at the level crossing gates of the Izzatnagar and Lucknow Division of the North Eastern Railway.
The age is calculated from July 1, 2022.
salary – Fee equal to Grade Pay 1800 (Level-1) wages will be paid. At the current rate, this fee will be around 25,000.
Contact Period – The contract will run until May 31, 2022, which is likely to continue into the future. However, the contract may be terminated at any time if the Railways’ need is over or if the work is not found to be satisfactory.

The basis for the selection of ex-servicemen will be the period of their military service.
Work
There is provision to work in 12-hour shifts at class C level crossings and in 8-hour shifts at other level crossings. There will be a day off every week. A casual leave of 10 days will be allowed each year. In addition, wages are withheld when taking leave.
