
The deadline to participate in the fifth edition of “Pariksha pe Charcha” with Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been extended to January 27, officials at the Ministry of Education said on Thursday.
“The last date to participate in the fifth edition of Pariksha pe Charcha has been extended to January 27. Prime Minister Narendra Modi came up with the unique interactive program, in which students, parents and teachers from all over the country and also from abroad interact with him to discuss and overcome the stress that comes from exams to celebrate life,” the official statement said.
The first edition of the Prime Minister’s interactive program with schoolchildren and students, “Pariksha Pe Charcha 1.0”, was held here at Talkatora Stadium on February 16, 2018.
“The format of this program is proposed to be in the online mode as in 2021. From December 28 to January 20, an online creative writing competition will be held on various topics to select the participants. The questions posed by the selected winners will be included in the Pariksha Pe Charcha program,” it said.
The creative writing topics for students include strategies for managing exam stress during COVID-19, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, self-reliant schools for a self-sufficient India, Clean India, Green India, digital collaboration in the classrooms, environmental conservation and climate change resistance.
Likewise, the theme for the teachers is “National Education Policy (NEP) for Naya Bharat”, while the themes for the parents is “Beti Padhao, Desh Badhao”, “Local to Global – Vocal for Local”, “Lifelong Students’ Yearning for Aan het to learn”.
Approximately 2,050 entrants selected through competitions on the MyGov portal will receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the Director, NCERT and a special Pariksha Pe Charcha kit containing the ‘Exam Warriors’ book in Hindi and English written by the Prime Minister,” the Prime Minister’s official said.
