Vignan Foundation for Science Technology and Research (Deemed-to-be University) announced its foray into ed-tech with the launch of Vignan Online. IIM-Udaipur Announces Climate Change Innovation Grant
The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur, in partnership with Meity Start-up Hub, the Government of India and business partner Transworld Group, has announced a Climate Change Innovation Scholarship for eligible start-ups. The grant is aimed at supporting climate tech startups whose products or services are explicitly aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions or addressing the effects of global warming. Careerera launched “Careerera Cares”, an initiative to provide scholarships to people affected by Covid-19. Below that are two programs. One is for students who have lost their parents to Covid-19 and who can take advantage of a 100% scholarship for all courses offered by Careerera. The second, for professionals who find it difficult to find a new job, offers a 50% scholarship for all the further training courses offered by Careerera.
Second Cohort CFO Program Announced
IIM Calcutta has announced the launch of the second cohort of the CFO program with Eruditus. The curriculum is designed to help finance professionals gain the knowledge and skills to be an effective CFO and will provide them with more tools to enhance their leadership and decision-making capabilities. Unlu launches fellowship in lyrics writing
Unlu recently announced the launch of its exclusive lyric writing fellowship program, which allows creators to learn from renowned instructors including Sameer, Sudesh Bhosale, Monali Thakur and Udit Narayan. Augustana University is offering scholarships
Augustana University of Sioux Falls (South Dakota) has announced grants of up to $25,000 per year for undergraduate programs beginning in the fall of 2022 for a wide variety of programs. Scholarships are offered for Indian students and young professionals to pursue undergraduate studies in Business, Computer Sciences, Phycology, Maths, Accounting and others. Applicants must have a SAT English score of 500 or an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent, a GPA of 6.0, and submit an essay to be eligible. The last application date is June 1.
University of Auckland launches support package
The University of Auckland, New Zealand has launched a support package specially designed for undergraduate and masters students from India who wish to continue their studies ahead of the phased reopening of the New Zealand border in 2022. Masters students can start their studies online from India while deferring their tuition payments until they activate their student loan when traveling to New Zealand and will also get a 30% scholarship from this year. the support package for undergraduate students includes virtual micro internships at NZ companies, a loyalty program that offers a one-course fee waiver after the completion of two semesters of full-time study, and additional online support.
Lycée Français International de Delhi opens admission
Lycée Français International de Delhi has opened admissions for the 2022-23 intake in the pre-primary, primary and secondary sections. The international school affiliated with AEFE offers the French Baccalauréat Certificate issued by the French Ministry of National Education. This is recognized in India and is similar to the certificates issued in relation to Senior School Certificate Examination by the CBSE or by other secondary, secondary or pre-university education institutions recognized by the Government of India.

Skills Development Training Program
Saurya Urja Company of Rajasthan Limited (SUCRL) has entered into a partnership with AISECT Ltd. to establish and operate the Skill Development and Solar Training Institute in Phalodi under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Local Area Development (LAD) program. As part of this, AISECT will facilitate the training of approximately 500 candidates each year and provide assistance with employment and self-employment opportunities.
