MSc in Environmental Quality Sciences

Hebrew University of Jerusalem is inviting applications for its multidisciplinary MSc in Environmental Quality Sciences, addressing the challenges of global environmental problems. Students must have a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university in a relevant field such as agriculture, land and water resources, agricultural engineering, chemistry, ecology, environment, soil science, etc. with a GPA of 80 or above along with at least 6.0 on the IELTS English proficiency test. AICTE launches portal for students and teachers

The All India Council for Technological Education (AICTE) has announced that it is expanding the scope of the National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) by making it accessible to teachers with more than five years of service. As part of the newly revamped NITTT, teachers will now be required to undertake industry training and semester-based mentorship as part of the training. It also announced the launch of the portal https://aslap.aicte-india.org/ which will conduct student and teacher assessments. The portal has over 1.45,000 multi-discipline review items. As part of the pilot, more than 80,000 students registered, 55,000 of whom completed the assessment. In addition, 1,200 teachers also made the assessment.

FIITJEE will conduct two national selection tests in February

FIITJEE will conduct its Fortunate 40 Selection Test on February 6 and 13. Selected students are admitted to the program with 100% scholarships. The test is only administered in supervised online mode. The closing date for registration is two days before the relevant dates. To be eligible for the FORTUNATE 40 batch, students must clear the individual trimmings for the subject and also the grand total. The institute will also hold its IIT Genius Test on February 6 and 13 for students of grades 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Course flow on new product development

dr. Ganesh N. Prabhu, professor of strategy at IIM Bangalore, has published a unique course flow on the Nodes platform (app.ednodes.com), which allows a business school’s new faculty to deliver a course on new product development that it has had for 25 years. teaching at IIM-Bangalore. The application has complete information about every aspect of teaching the new course and can be accessed via web browsers on any device. Faculty members can privately customize their course outline to suit their own teaching style and institutional assessment requirements. A discussion forum within the application allows faculty members to share their course experience, and teachers can guide those teaching the course elsewhere.

WUD launches acting course

World University of Design has introduced a six-month certificate program in film acting in its new 2022 academic session. The program will be led by experienced trainer Farrukh Naqi Azmi and will start from March 2022. The course aims to instill a sense of confidence so that students can act in front of the camera, gain a good command of dialogue; control facial expressions, develop good body language and flexibility; develop the essential skills of observation, imagination, sensory and emotional memories; ability to improvise; master movement with special attention to dance skills to improvise; and the fundamentals of action choreography.

PG Diploma in Banking

YES BANK has partnered with BFSI’s Manipal Academy to launch ‘YES Professional Banker’, a one-year postgraduate banking diploma for graduates looking to build a career at BFSI. The Bank will provide education loans to help students meet program costs under existing eligibility criteria. Upon completion, students receive a PG Diploma in Banking from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and the ‘YES Professional Banker’ certification from YES School of Banking. BMU opens admissions

BML Munjal University (BMU) has opened admission for undergraduate programs for 2022. Scores in admission tests such as JEE (Main) and CLAT will apply to the BTech and Integrated five-year law programs respectively. Students can also appear for the BMU-SAT. University Aptitude Test

The foreign university platform Scholarly Global will conduct the University Aptitude Test, a quiz that will test one’s knowledge of English, general mathematical ability and logical reasoning. The first prize is a scholarship worth $1000 and the second prize is $500 for SAT test preparation. Ace the Case Competition

Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) has called for entries for its 11th annual “Ace the Case” competition, which gives university students in Africa, the Middle East and India the chance to respond to a global business case study. This year’s case offers contestants the chance to be selected for the Grand Finals, where the top four winning teams will compete against peers from Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
