The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has extended the internship completion deadline for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG) 2022. The new deadline is now July 31, 2022. Candidates can visit the official website – wet board. edu.in — to complete the NEET PG 2022 application.
“Following on the NBEMS Notice of 04.02.2022 and in accordance with the directions of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Govt. of India see his letter No. F. No. U11011/06/2021-MEC of 15.02.2022, the closing date for internship completion for NEET-PG 2022 eligibility has been extended to 31.07.2022,” the official message reads.
Several MBBS students had recently joined forces to urge the Supreme Court to intervene and order the authorities to extend the deadline for NEET PG 2022 internship. The Supreme Court had asked students to make a statement to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
The official release also added that the NEET-PG 2022 online application form will be updated accordingly and the changes to the application form will be implemented by February 18, 2022 (starting at 3:00 PM). The online application form submission form is active until March 25, 2022.
To access the Official Internship Deadline Extension Notice, students can visit the official website — natboard.edu.in — and find the link that says “Latest Completion Date for NEET-PG 2022 Extended.” The notification will open in a new window in PDF format.
