The application fee for NEET exam 2022 registration is: 1600/- for candidates in the general category, 1500 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL candidates and 900 for SC/ST/PwBD/third gender candidates.

NEET UG 2022 Exam Date Has Been Released. The survey will be conducted on July 17, 2022 in approximately 543 cities in India and 14 cities outside India.

The NEET exam is conducted in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

The entrance test will consist of 200 multiple choice questions (four options with one correct answer) from physics, chemistry and biology (botany and zoology). 50 questions in each topic are divided into two sections (A and B). The duration of the exam is 200 minutes (03 hours and 20 minutes) from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM.

NEET UG 2022 registration has just started. The last application date for the exam is until May 6, 2022. Candidates can apply online through the NTA NEET official site at neet.nta.nic.in.

“Candidates who have passed Class 12 of the Open School or as private candidates are not eligible for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test,” the NTA said.

A candidate who has passed Class 12 or equivalent exam majoring in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology can apply for NEET 2022.

“A candidate who participates in the qualifying exam i.e. 12 Standard in 2022, whose result is pending, may apply and appear on the test, but s/he will not be eligible for admission into the Undergraduate Medical Courses if s/he does not pass the qualifying exam with the required pass rate at the time of the first round of counseling,” according to the NTA.

Candidates must be at least 17 years old (born on or before December 31, 2005 to participate in NEET 2022). There is no maximum age.

“According to Letter No. U-11022/2/2022-UGMEB, dated March 09, 2022 received from the National Medical Commission (NMC), Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) regarding the upper age limit, that there should be no higher age its limit as decided at the fourth NMC meeting on October 21, 2021,” an official statement said.

Candidates are to choose the medium of the question paper while filling the application form. The option once selected cannot be changed.

Candidates can choose to write the NEET exam in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Odia, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, Telegu, Gujarati, Urdu, Malayalam, Punjabi and Kannada.

NEET 2022 will be held offline as a pen and paper based test. Candidates must use ballpoint pens provided at the exam center to fill the OMR sheets.

Incorrect answer: -1

Unanswered/Marked for rating: 0 (No grade)

If more than one option is found to be correct, 4 points are awarded for both options. If all options are correct, 4 points are awarded to everyone who has attempted the question. If a question is found to be incorrect or the question is removed, 4 points will be awarded to all candidates who attempted the question.

Optional questions, introduced in NEET last year, will continue this year.

Candidates must attempt 10 of the 15 questions in Section B.

If a candidate attempts more than 10 questions in Section B, only the first 10 questions will be considered for evaluation. There will also be a negative mark for section B.

There will be 200 multiple choice questions in NEET 2022 on the four subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology).

50 questions in each topic are divided into two sections (A and B).

The duration of the exam is 200 minutes (03 hours 20 minutes).

On uploading photos, the NTA said, “the recent photo must be in color or black and white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.”

NEET 2022 registration process has started at neet.nta.nic.in.

NEET 2022 will be held on July 17, 2022 at exam centers across India.

Last year, the NTA held the NEET registration in two phases, with the first taking place before the exam and the second after the test but before the results.

The NTA may continue with the process this year. More details are awaited.

Students who have passed the class 12 final exam or equivalent exam in physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English can enroll in NEET.

Students appearing for class 12 final exams with the above subjects this year can also apply for NEET 2022.

Postcard size (4”X6”) photo in JPG format

Latest passport photo in JPG format

Left thumbprint in JPG format

Signature in JPG format

Class 10 pass certificate in PDF format

Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc) in PDF format

PwBD certificate in pdf format.
