    NEET Exam 2022: Exam Pattern Details

    The entrance test will consist of 200 multiple choice questions (four options with one correct answer) from physics, chemistry and biology (botany and zoology). 50 questions in each topic are divided into two sections (A and B). The duration of the exam is 200 minutes (03 hours and 20 minutes) from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM.

    NEET 2022 Registration: Education Qualification

    A candidate who has passed Class 12 or equivalent exam majoring in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology can apply for NEET 2022.

    “A candidate who participates in the qualifying exam i.e. 12 Standard in 2022, whose result is pending, may apply and appear on the test, but s/he will not be eligible for admission into the Undergraduate Medical Courses if s/he does not pass the qualifying exam with the required pass rate at the time of the first round of counseling,” according to the NTA.

    If more than one option is found to be correct, 4 points are awarded for both options. If all options are correct, 4 points are awarded to everyone who has attempted the question. If a question is found to be incorrect or the question is removed, 4 points will be awarded to all candidates who attempted the question.

    Candidates must attempt 10 of the 15 questions in Section B.

    If a candidate attempts more than 10 questions in Section B, only the first 10 questions will be considered for evaluation. There will also be a negative mark for section B.
