MPPEB: Apply from today for the recruitment of 1979 posts of forest ranger, prison ranger and constable in MP

MP Jail Prahari, Forest Guard Recruitment 2023: The application process for Forest Guard, Field Guard and Jail Prahari recruitment by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) begins today, 20th January. Candidates can apply from today by visiting the official website of Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board peb.mp.gov.in and peb.mponline.gov.in. The 1979 posts will recruit Jail Prahari, Vanrakshak (Forest Guard) and Area Guard. The application deadline is set for February 3, 2023. Changes to the application can be made from January 20, 2022 through February 8, 2023. The exam will start from May 11, 2023.

age relaxation
In the first application, the age limit for these positions is set at 18-33 years. The age easing was announced after the notification appeared. It has been announced that three years of relaxation of the age limit will be given to the candidates. In this regard, a change has been made to the 2022-23 Direct Recruitment Examination Rule Book. Vanrakshak (Forest Guard) – 1772 (708 posts will be filled through open recruitment)
Eligibility – 12th pass in each discipline.
Height related qualification – The height of the male candidate must be at least 163 cm, the chest must be 79 cm. Expansion of 5 cm required.
The height of the female candidate must be at least 150 cm.
Salary scale – 19500-62000
Selection – Written exam and physical test.
Physical Test – Male candidates must run 25 km in 4 hours and female candidates must run 14 km in 4 hours.

Fielder – 140 (56 positions filled through open recruitment)
Eligibility – 12th pass in each discipline.

Prison Prahari physical test-
Male candidates must complete an 800m race in 2 minutes and 50 seconds. The 7,260 kg ball will have to be thrown up to 20 feet.
Female candidates must complete an 800m race in 4 minutes. A 4 kg ball must be thrown up to 5 meters.
Only qualification in physical test is needed. The person who fails in the race is not allowed to participate in the shot put.

Exam pattern for the above three posts
In the 2-hour online written test, 12th level multiple choice questions are asked on General Knowledge, General Hindi, General English, General Mathematics, General Science. It will be 100 marks.
One mark is given for each correct question. There will be no negative marking.
