Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released admission tickets for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST 2022) Class 9 admission. Candidates can download their admission cards from the official NVS website — navodaya.gov.in.
Selection test for Class IX admission will be conducted on Saturday, April 9, 2022 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the concerned district/any other center assigned by NVS. The exam is conducted in English/Hindi for 1.5 hours and students must record their answers in an OMR sheet.
How to download an admission card:
Step 1: Visit the official NVS website — navodaya.gov.in.
Step 2: On the home page, click the ‘Please click here’ link. to download the Class IX Admission Card Lateral Entry Selection Test – 2022′
Step 3: Log in with your registered username and password. Fill in the captcha and click on ‘login’.
Step 4: The JNVST Class 9 Admission Card will be displayed on your screen. Download and save it for future use.
The result will be announced in the Vidyalaya bulletin board and published on the website of the concerned JNVs. Selected candidates will also be notified via Speed Post and SMS.
JNVs are co-educational, residential schools, funded entirely by the Government of India and run by an autonomous organization, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, under the Ministry of Education. While admission into Navodaya Vidyalayas is at Class VI level, vacant posts at Class IX level are filled in order to make the most of the available infrastructure facilities through an All India level admission test. Although the education in the schools is free, including room and board, uniform and textbooks, an amount of Rs 600 per month is collected from the students of classes IX to XII just for Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi.
