JEE Advanced Result 2021: The results of JEE Advanced 2021, the joint entrance examination for admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) of the country, were announced on Friday morning. This time 41862 students passed the exam. A total of 1,41,699 students appeared in the JEE Advanced, Paper 1 and Paper 2 papers. 6452 are girls of the total of 41,862 candidates. That is, this time, 15.41 percent of the candidates who passed the advanced exam are girls.

Mridul Agarwal became the winner
The candidates of IIT Delhi region have surpassed JEE Advanced exam in both boys and girls category. Mridul Aggarwal from IIT Delhi region not only topped the exam but also made history by scoring top in JEE entrance exam. Mridul surpassed the exam by 96.66 percentage points with 348 points out of 360. This is the highest score a student has received on the JEE Advanced exam since 2011. Over the past ten years, the highest score was 96 percent. Then in the year 2012, the top scorer scored 385 out of a total of 401. While in 2020, JEE Advanced exam was 396 points and the highest score was 352, which is about 88.88 percent.

Let us inform that Mridul had also passed JEE Main 2021 exam. He achieved 100 percentile with 300 points in session 1 and session 2. In the girls category, Kavya Chopra of IIT Delhi zone has secured the first position. He has 286 out of 360 points.

Among the successful candidates who scored better in JEE Main, 2.5 lakh students are given the chance to appear in JEE Advanced. The process of registration and selection under JoSAA starts from October 16. The first mock seat assignment will be released on October 22 at 10 a.m. The second seat allocation list will be released on October 24. The first round of seat allocation will begin on October 27 at 10 a.m. Online reporting, fee payment, document upload and response activities will continue through October 30.

Let us tell you that keeping in mind the convenience of the students and to give them a chance to improve their grades, the JEE-Main exam has been taken four times this year. The ranking of the candidates will be released taking into account the best four figures. 41,862 candidates qualified for JEE Advanced, of which 6,452 were girls.
