IIM-Calcutta introduces strategic project management programme

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has launched an Advanced Program in Strategic Project Management (APSPM) together with Eruditus. People interested in participating in this program can visit the official website – http://www.iimcal.ac.in.

The APSPM program is a nine-month course that aims to equip mid- and senior executives with the ability to plan and effectively manage projects in their organization. The start is planned from April 2022.

This program from IIM Calcutta is specifically designed for senior executives seeking formal training in project and portfolio management. The content of the program introduces the participants to the concepts of project and portfolio management and to the advanced tools and techniques available to implement them in different companies. The capstone project offers participants the opportunity to apply the lessons from the program to a project throughout its life cycle.


Interested candidates must be a graduate with a minimum of nine years of work experience and a minimum of 50 percent graduation/post-graduation.

The course is best suited for mid- to senior-level executives who want to drive strategic initiatives with a data-driven approach. The participants must have direct or indirect experience working on/managing projects.

All enrolled executives, upon successful completion of all evaluation components and attendance criteria, would receive a Certificate of Completion and be considered for the prestigious IIM Calcutta Executive Education Alumni Status. The third set of live online and classroom sessions will begin on March 27, 2022.

The program cost is Rs. 2.90,000, along with a campus fee of Rs. 40,000 (and taxes apply).
