IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will conduct a nationwide admission test for Post Basic B.Sc admission on May 8, 2022. Nursing program, for the January 2022 batch.
According to a press statement from the university, there is no age limit for admission to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing program.
Suitability
Nurses on duty i.e. Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) with 10 + 2 with three years,
Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with at least two years experience in the profession after RNRM. (For male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM program, in lieu of midwifery, must be a certificate from one of the 6-9 month nursing courses prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council).
OR
Registered Nurses (RNRM) with 10th Class (Matriculation) or its equivalent with three years, Diploma
in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of five years experience in the profession after RNRM. (For male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM program, in lieu of midwifery, certificate from one of the 6-9 month nursing courses prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council)
Reservation policy according to the rules of the Government of India.
The registration process for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programs began online March 23 at www.ignou.ac.in. Candidates can choose their exam city through the online registration system on a first come, first served basis.
An examination fee of Rs.1000 is to be paid by credit or debit card issued by banks in India or through online banking.
