IGNOU PhD entrance exam: NTA releases information slips; admit cards to be released soon
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released advanced information forms for candidates appearing in the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) entrance examination. These advanced information cards can be downloaded from the IGNOU official website — ignou.nta.nic.in.
However, NTA has clarified that these advanced information slips are not equivalent to admission tickets, and official admission tickets for IGNOU’s PhD entrance examination will be released soon on the official website. “The candidates can note that this is not the admission card for the entrance examination. This is just a pre-announcement of the assigned exam city where the exam center will be located, to facilitate the candidates. The admission card of the entrance examination will be provided in due course”, clarifies NTA.
These advanced information strips issued by NTA state the location of the exam site and other relevant information.
IGNOU PhD Entrance Exam: How To Download
Step 1: Visit the official website — ignou.nta.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, find the link ‘IGNOU Ph.D.- 2021-22 Advance City Intimation’
Step 3: A new page will open. Enter your registered application number and date of birth, or application number and password.
Step 4: Submit and view the assigned exam center city.
Step 5: Save the page for future reference.
NTA will conduct the PhD entrance examination for admission into various PhD courses on February 24, 2022 for the 2021-22 academic session.
