The Admit Card of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 is released today 14 January 2022 by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. The institute has not yet released the date of issue of the access card. Previously, the GATE 2022 admission card was expected to be Tomorrow. According to the official website, the GATE 2022 Admit card is available to download . The entrance ticket will be issued on the official website gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Candidates can only download the admission card by logging into this website.
The exams will be held from February 5 to February 13, 2022. The exam will be held in two sessions: a morning session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and an afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. It will be fully Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam for CE, CS, EC, EE and ME papers in GATE 2022 can be taken in multiple sessions. However, a candidate only needs to appear for the exam in one of the several sittings of the same paper.

GATE Exam Pattern (GATE 2020 Exam Pattern)
GATE is a computer based, ie online test. A total of 65 questions are asked from all sections. All questions are of multiple choice and numeric type. The exam has a total of 100 points. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours.
Section: Questions come from three sections, namely General Competency, Engineering Mathematics, and a Specific Subject.
Marking scheme: Many Multiple Choice and Numeric questions will have 1 or 2 marks. 1/3 extra points are deducted for wrong answer in 1 point multiple choice and 2/3 extra points are deducted for wrong in 2 digit question. There will be no negative marking for numeric type questions.
In General Aptitude 5 questions of 1 point and 5 questions of 2 points are asked. In this way there are 10 questions for a total of 15 points. Except for GG, XE, and XL, the rest of the section consists of 25 1-point questions and 30 2-point questions. In this way there are 55 questions for a total of 85 points.
