BSEB Matric Result 2022: The Aurangabad district in Bihar is always in the news for its Maoist activities, but 15-year-old Ramayani Roy changed the headlines with her stunning performance in the Bihar Board matric Class 10 exam 2022 achieving rank 1 with 487 points. Although most graduates seem to want to become engineers or doctors, Mrs. Roy aspires to become a journalist and to strengthen the democracy of the country. “I want to be a journalist like Ravish Kumar, and contribute to make our country democratic.”

Ms. Roy grew up in the Maoist hit Daud Nagar, but the political turmoil didn’t affect her studies. “Maoist activities were very common a year ago, but thanks to the measures taken by the government, we now live peacefully,” she said. Ms. Roy was preparing for the basic exam at a time when schools were closed due to a pandemic, but according to the topper: “I’ve adopted online learning quite well during the pandemic, taking YouTube classes and classes by Doordarshan. I studied six every day. to eight o’clock, and the suggestions of my tutors helped me to shine well in the matric, class 10 exam.”





Ms. Roy will be taking Physics (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) plus 2, high school, although her desire is to study Humanities. “No pressure from the family, but I will take plus 2 Science as suggested by my family,” she said. Mrs. Roy’s father, Jitendra Kumar, is a veterinarian and mother Kiran Kumari is a housewife. “My parents never made me feel the hardship, and they always inspired me and were a constant support in my career path,” she said.

Mrs. Roy is a student of Patel High School Daudnagar, Aurangabad. The holders of the second rank are Saniya Kumari, Vivek Kumar Thakur with 486 points and Pragya Kumari took the third position with 485 points. A total of 79.88 percent of students successfully passed the matric, class 10 exam this year, a slight improvement from last year – 78.17 percent.
