
Cochin University of Science and Technology to conduct CUSAT CAT 2022 on May 15, 16 and 17, 2022. The exam will be administered as a computer-based test and candidates will be required to visit the center to take the test. CUSAT is a university-level exam, administered annually for admission to various courses, including B.Tech, integrated M.Sc, B.com LLB, BBA, and PhD programs, among many others.
The CUSAT 2022 registration was supposed to start on February 8, 2022. However, for some unknown reason, it hasn’t started yet. Now, online registration is expected to begin shortly and candidates can apply through admissions.cusat.ac.in.
Now that the CUSAT 2022 Exam Date is set up, it’s time to start preparing for the exam. Here are some tips and tricks to keep in mind:
- To get good grades on the exam, candidates need to know the pattern and syllabus and prepare the revision schedule in a structured manner. Go through the entire curriculum, analyze the topics and prepare the revision routine accordingly.
- Solve several sample papers to familiarize students with questions that may be asked during exams. It will also raise awareness about the exam pattern.
- Make notes of important formulas and review them regularly. While preparing for the exam, keep calm and maintain your health. This will increase the self confidence of the students.
The syllabus followed by CUSAT 2022 for undergraduate programs is the same as the 10+2 syllabus for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The topics to be covered by candidates are:
- In mathematics, there are algebra, trigonometry, statistics, limit, continuity and differentiation, complex numbers and quadratic equations.
- In chemistry, states of matter, atomic structure, chemical bonding and molecular structure, chemical thermodynamics and chemistry in real life.
- In physics, laws of motion, work, energy and force, gravity, properties of matter states and oscillation.
For masters degree, as per their undergraduate syllabus, aspirants are required to prepare for the respective course in which they are seeking admission. Basically, candidates should have basic knowledge of their respective subject.
There are some booking for CUSAT 2022, which candidates can refer to, including sample papers and question bank books. Aspirants should refer to NCERT, solutions fromf concepts of physics By HC Verma, Organic Chemistry Textbook and NCERT Copy of Arihant Publication and Mathematics for Grade 12 by RD Sharma. These are the books that cover the wide range of topics that should be asked in the entrance exam.
The CUSAT 2022 exam is conducted in computer-based test mode and lasts three hours. The exam paper will consist of two parts which comprise Paper I and Paper II. The paper will consist of multiple choice questions and for each correct answer the candidate will be awarded three points and for an incorrect answer there will be a negative rating of 1.
