CUET 2022: What is the paper pattern of the Common University Entrance Test, know how the exam will be taken for college admission

The notification for Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2022) has been released. The admission test for the 2022-23 academic year for admission to the Central University will be administered by computer. From April 2 to April 30, the student registration application forms are available on the official website of the board at cuet.samarth.ac.in. National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the exam in CBT mode. This exam provides a common platform for the students to access central universities across the country.

What is the CUET exam and what is the pattern of this exam?

CUET exam means Common University Entrance Test. This exam is taken for admission to UG courses at various universities in the country. All questions in the exam are asked from the 12th grade syllabus. CUET Syllabus is based on 12th NCERT books. The exam date will be announced soon on the official website of NTA.

Language
CUET 2022 is conducted in 13 languages ​​including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu. Apart from this, if a student wants to pursue a bachelor’s degree in language, he can choose from 19 other languages ​​including French, German, Japanese, Russian, Bodo, and Santhali.

University
There are 45 universities under CUET. However, universities have the freedom to choose their admission process. CUCET score will still be mandatory for RUG admission in these universities. The CUET entrance exam does not affect the specific admission criteria to be followed at a university. The seat reservation policy and the manner in which the supervision takes place is the decision of the university.

According to the CUET 2022 entrance exam pattern, there will be four parts of the paper. The CUCET 2022 questionnaire will consist of a compulsory language test, two domain-specific tests and a general exam.
Section 1A Language – Each language can be selected from 13 different languages ​​of the exam.
SECTION 1B – LANGUAGE – A language can be selected from one of 19 languages ​​other than the one suggested in section 1A.
Section 2 – Domain – A candidate can choose a maximum of six (06) domains according to the university’s wishes. Candidates must also attempt 40 of the 50 questions in Section 2.
Section 3 – Common Exam – Programs offered by universities for a graduate program where a common exam is used for admission. In this case, candidates must attempt 60 out of 75 questions.
