CEED 2022 exam today: Check guidelines, pattern and last minute tips

CEED 2022: IIT-Bombay will hold the entrance examination for CEED 2022 on January 23, 2022. The examination times are from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. CEED 2022 questions paper is divided into two parts – part A and part B. Part A will be performed as a computer based test while part B will be a paper test.

There are a total of 41 questions in Part A of the CEED Exam — Numeric Answer Type (8), Multiple Choice (23) and Multiple Choice (10). Three points are awarded for NAT and MSQ, while two points are awarded for MCQ. A negative mark of 0.2 is in MSQ and 0.5 is in MCQ. There are five sections in Part B of CEED 2022, each containing 1 question of 20 points: Sketching, Creativity, Form Sensitivity, Visual Sensitivity, Problem Identification.

CEED 2022 Admission Card has already been released on the official website which is ceed.iitb.ac.in. After the exam, IIT will release CEED 2022 Answer Key and result. With only one day left before CEED 2022, candidates can refer to the information provided for last-minute preparation tips and important guidelines.

Last-minute preparation tips

CEED 2022 will be held tomorrow, so it is very important to know some of the latest tips for exam preparation.

— The first thing the candidate has to do is solve at least one last year’s question paper. This will boost the candidate’s confidence.

— The questions can be very arbitrary, so what the candidate can do is read topics like art and culture, typography, color theory. Candidates must also review the notes they have taken while preparing for the exam.

— The candidates have to spend some time sketching.

— In the CEED 2022 exam, the candidates have to plan their time very wisely so that they have some extra time to do their final touches, add detailing or shading. Before you start sketching, first plan out the idea and jot it down somewhere in the rough, and get to work with it. The idea and thought of the sketch are more important. Therefore, candidates need to keep in mind that people need to understand what you’re trying to portray in the sketch.

Exam Guidelines

The candidates must follow the mandatory exam guidelines for the CEED 2022.

— The first is that candidates must report at 7 a.m. on the reporting time.

— It is very important to keep the printout of the CEED 2022 Admission Card to the exam center. Prior to the exam, biometric information is stored that includes the candidate’s thumbprint and photo.

— The candidates must bring appropriate original ID such as PAN card, voter ID, Aadhar card or printed e-aadhar card, the university issued ID card, passport or driver’s license to the examination center.

— No candidate is allowed to carry electronic gadgets such as calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches and more.

— Candidates are not allowed to bring a drawing sheet to the examination hall as this will be provided to you. They should bring their own drawing materials such as pencils, sketch pens, pens and colors.

— The candidates must strictly follow the covid guidelines such as maintaining social distancing while in the exam center and wearing masks. Candidates are allowed to carry sanitizer in a small transparent bottle, and a face shield is also allowed in the exam hall.
