It will be a live session that will be webcast on CBSE’s official YouTube channel. The channel, titled CBSE Academics and Training, will begin the webcast tomorrow at 3 p.m. The theme of this webinar is ‘storytelling as pedagogy’.
CBSE’s reading mission began in September 2021, with the aim of promoting reading and literacy as part of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. It is a two-year initiative aimed at encouraging students to read and engage more with books. are.
CBSE also planned to hold webinars for teachers about reading culture in schools. The webinar to be held on January 27 is part of that.
As part of this initiative, CBSE had also announced that it will provide high-quality reading materials in both Hindi and English to more than 25,000 member schools, especially for grades 1 to 8. “Schools and teachers will have access to high-quality English and Children’s storybooks in Hindi and free resources for grades 1 to 8 under this initiative. In addition, CBSE would also develop the CBSE (English and Hindi) reading challenge,” the board explained at the launch of the program.
