CBSE extends registration deadline for dispute redressal mechanism

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for registration of the dispute settlement mechanism for the Term 1 exam to Wednesday, April 20, 2022. The schools can open the dispute settlement mechanism for both grades 10 and 12 within the due date. to request. To get the official notification and other details, schools can visit CBSE official website – cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in

The decision was made by the CBSE board after some schools said they could not apply before the deadline, as CBSE is extending the final date as a special measure.

According to the schedule previously released by the CBSE, the last date to address a performance dispute on CBSE Class 10 Term 1 result 2022 was until March 26, and for CBSE Class 12 Term 1 was the deadline March 31, 2022.

CBSE said:If a student wishes to raise a dispute regarding Term 1 performance, he/she may notify his/her school in writing.”

“Schools will consider the student’s request and if a dispute can be resolved at the school level, the school will communicate the result to the concerned student in writing,” it said.

If the dispute is to be resolved by CBSE, a report listing all the disputes received by the schools can be uploaded at once on the school request for resolution on the official website.

No request sent by the school on an email ID or any other platform will not be considered by the CBSE, it added. Schools and students are advised to keep an eye on the official website for more updates and information regarding exams and other information.
