The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of high school principals under the state education department. The committee has reported a total of 6,421 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online at onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in
The online application process started on March 5 and the last application date is March 28.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age: Applicants applying for the positions must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Academic Qualification: Must be a citizen of India and a resident of Bihar state.
– Must be postgraduate from a recognized university with at least 50 percentage points.
– Must be BEd/BA Ed/BSc Ed from a recognized institution.
– Qualified for the ‘Teacher Eligibility Test’ conducted for on- or post-hired teachers 2012
Experience: Minimum 10 years of continuous service in the position of secondary teacher in the state
Government school under Panchayati Raj Institution or Municipal Authority.
(ii) A minimum of 12 years of continuous service in the position of secondary school teacher
with a permanent affiliation with CBSEA.C. SE./BSEB.
(iii) Minimum of 08 years of continuous service in the position of Senior Secondary Teacher in State
Government School under Panchayati Raj Institution or Municipal Body Institution.
(iv) Minimum of 10 years continuous service in the position of Senior Secondary Teacher in tThe school has a permanent affiliation with CBSMCSE/BSEB
The calculation of experience is made from the date of entry or from the date of acquisition of the educational qualification, whichever is later.
