
Avinash, a resident of Koshdihara, a small village in the Goh block of Bihar’s Aurangabad district, has passed the UPSC exam. Securing 190th place in Friday’s exam results released, the name of the village, block and district has been lit up. There is an air of happiness in the house about his success and there is an influx of people congratulating him.
Avinash’s brother Neeraj shared that Avinash has been successful for the fourth time. In 2016 he made his first attempt for UPSC, which he failed. However, in the same year, he passed the IFS exam and was successful in it and was appointed as a DFO in the Forest Department, Gorakhpur, UP. Despite this, the passion of UPSC remained in him. In the year 2017 and 2019, he also passed the UPSC exam but could not pass. Even after three consecutive failures, he did not lose heart and achieved success in the last fourth time.

The people of the whole village are proud of this success of Avinash. Neeraj himself has been posted in NTPC Hazaribagh. Father Mohan Singh retired as Executive Engineer of NTPC, Hazaribagh in January this year. Avinash was married to Akanksha in the year 2016. He is also an MBBS doctor. Mata Madhuri Singh is a housewife.
Avinash took his entrance exam from Nazareth Academy, Gaya, Inter from Bal Vidya Niketan Jehanabad, BTech and MTech from IIT Roorkee.

Avinash shared that it was self-study that brought him to this point of success. He gave a message to the youth and said that you should not give up failures. The secret of success lies in failure. With hard work and dedication anything can be achieved. Neeraj and Ambuj are very happy with brother’s success. There is an air of happiness in the village of Kosdihara over Lal who becomes the DM of the village.
