In the fight against the discrimination prevailing in society at the time, he achieved the post of the Prime Minister of Justice of India on the basis of his prowess. In 1990 he was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest award.

He had a degree in economics and political science from Bombay University. He went to America to do his MA. At that time he was only 22 years old. Ambedkar founded the Labor Party in 1936.
