
The AILET 2022 notification and application has been released and the latest application date is April 7, 2022. All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is being conducted for admission into BA LLB (Hons.), LLM and PhD programmes. For the BA LLB (Hons) program, students must be qualified with an upper secondary exam (Class 12) or equivalent exam with a total score of at least 45 percent (40 percent in case of SC/ST/Persons with disabilities) . However, for LLM, students must score 65 percent in grade 12.
AILET 2022 registration window is now open on nludelhi.ac.in. Candidates must first create a login by entering basic information such as name, email address, mobile number, etc. After this, candidates can access the form and fill in personal, educational and other details. Candidates are also required to upload images in the form and pay the application fee.
Candidates who want to appear for the exam must know the exam pattern. According to last year’s AILET 2022 exam pattern, it is an offline exam, which includes 150 questions, all of MCQ type. The duration of the exam is 1 hour 30 minutes. There are a total of 5 sections namely English General Knowledge, Legal Proficiency, Reasoning and Basic Mathematics. The Elementary Mathematics section has 10 points, while the other sections contain 35 points each.
It consists of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQ) for 150 points, to be completed in 1 hour and 30 minutes. The 150 MCQs will cover a wide variety of legal topics, including criminal law, constitutional law, contract law, jurisprudence, tort and international law. The pattern is expected to remain the same this year.
The AILET 2022 syllabus consists of subjects from English, General Knowledge including current affairs, general science, history, geography, economics, civics, legal competence, reasoning and basic mathematics. The LLM course requires students to review topics such as criminal law, constitutional law, contract law, jurisprudence, tort, and international law.

The National Law University, Delhi conducts the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2022 for admission into BA LLB (Hons), LLM and PhD courses. The language of the questionnaire is English. There is no maximum and minimum age for taking the AILET 2022 exam.
